I can barely keep up with the inquiries for spring and summer. I am now booked solid through the end of July 2010 and I do not have any more waitlist availability through July 2010 either.
Unfortunately if you're trying to book before mid-year right now, I have more people on the waitlist than I have scheduled dates.
If you are looking for a portrait session in mid-2010 and beyond, I am booking maternity, newborn / infant / baby, and holiday packages starting in August 2010 through early 2011.

Last but not least, my boys got their 'big' present a bit early this year. We have a new family member and her name is Zoé. She is a blonde American cocker spaniel puppy, born on October 11th. And of course, being my "child", she's already learning to model. You can see the photo of her below (posted by request) at baxterboo.com.

Any Buttons and Bows clients who wish to order custom Christmas and holiday cards should use the contact form to write Robyn for more information.
And speaking of reasons to be merry.....here are the 2009 holiday ordering deadlines.
| 2008 HOLIDAY ORDER DEADLINES - NO EXCEPTIONS:
11.07 - All canvas, book, and album orders must be submitted
11.25 - All holiday card orders must be submitted
12.04 - Prints ordered after this date NOT guaranteed
for Christmas delivery
12.09 - "RUSH FEE" cut-off for late card / print orders
(please add $50 fee per order - does not include
canvas, book, and album orders)
12.09 - All birth announcement orders must be
submitted to guarantee Christmas delivery
(rush fee waived - does not apply to print orders) |
(If you have a late October, November, or early December session scheduled, please contact me if you have questions about these deadlines — some will be extended for 1-2 weeks past your session date with no penalty. Your ordering gallery login will contain more information. I cannot guarantee holiday delivery for December session orders placed after December 10th, unless otherwise notified.)
These dates are placed in effect by me because I have strict deadlines already set in place by my print labs. There is no room to bend. No exceptions.

Did you hear the news? Buttons and Bows Photography was named the 2009 "Best Family Photographer" winner for Orlando, Florida, by Parents Connect and goCityKids.com. Parents were allowed to vote through July 15, 2009. Contest winners were announced on August 17, 2009. Parents Connect / goCityKids is a national city directory (owned by Nickelodeon / Nick Jr. and MTV / Viacom) for parents, by parents. "The 2009 nominee choices were not related to, or influenced by, any advertising or partner relationships." Buttons and Bows Photography would like to congratulate Orlando, Florida's own...Magician Drew Thomas (shown here with judges Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David Hasselhoff)...for making the top five semi-finalists in the 2009 season of "America's Got Talent"!
Drew's wife Rebecca is also part of the cast, and it was so exciting to see them both so happy together on national TV as they advanced to the semi-finals! Congrats to you both!

Summer - it's like a merry-go-round (FL photographer)
Yesterday my home was invaded by gallery wrap canvases following an early July promotion. You can see my 5-year old son in one of the photos—he's extremely tall for his age and the box was as tall as he is! I hadn't even removed all of the canvases from the box when I snapped these. It was amazing!
I took most of July off to catch up on my processing, orders, life, and spend some quality summer vacation time with my boys and husband. Unfortunately until we get that pesky little "only 24 hours in one day" limit worked out, some things it seems I will never catch up on.
But all outstanding orders have been processed and shipped and only three client galleries remain to go online. Good thing I have half a weekend because I'm back to shooting in full-force on Sunday.
Stay tuned! It just. Got. Interesting...
